SCGC Supports "Rayong Stroke Awareness" Seminar to Promote Sustainable Well-being

Rayong, 30 March 2026 – SCG Chemicals (SCGC) continues its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the Rayong community by supporting the health seminar "Rayong Stroke Awareness for Sustainable Well-being". The event was organized by the Rayong Media in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth). The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Thawin Photibuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut at Map Ta Phut Municipal Public Health Center (Building M), Rayong.

The primary goal of this event is to equip Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) and local residents with essential knowledge regarding Stroke (cerebrovascular disease). By learning to recognize early warning signs and assess risks accurately, the community can significantly reduce the likelihood of disability or loss of life. The program promotes preventive healthcare as a cornerstone for transforming Rayong into a sustainable "Healthy City".

The seminar featured medical experts from Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center Rayong, who shared professional insights on stroke prevention. Additionally, attendees received complimentary health screenings, including blood sugar testing and blood pressure monitoring.
