Cooler boxes and ice boxes are used direct contact with food and ice for cold storage and transport, that are mainly used outdoors. In order to meet the demanding requirements of cooler applications, SCGC™ has developed LLDPE for rotational moulding, passed the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) standard, has the properties of being resistant to UV, characteristics of fast cooking, and impact resistance.
Our product forms include:
SCGC™ LLDPE M30 series are color compound linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) for rotational moulding applications. These grades are suitable for containers and general applications which have wall thickness less than 5 mm. M30 Series designed for indoor and semi-indoor products with UV2.
SCGC™ M3204RU is a linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) for indoor/ semi-indoor rotational moulding applications. M3204RU is a natural color PE resin available in a pellet and powder form. This grade is suitable for containers and general purpose applications which are indoor/ semi-indoor or for thin wall parts. (Wall thickness less than 5 mm)
SCGC™ LLDPE M40 are color compound linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) for rotational molding applications. These grades are suitable for containers and general applications which have wall thickness less than 5 mm. M40 has UV8 protection for outdoor application.
SCGC™ LLDPE M72 is a color compound linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) for rotational moulding applications. With a high melt flow and a balance of impact strength and processability, this grade is specifically designed for rotational moulding of cooler boxes, exhibiting an excellent surface finish with no pinholing.
SCGC™ LLDPE S15 is a special linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) designed for strong adhesion to polyurethane foam (PU foam). S15 helps eliminate internal surface modification step since PU foam can be applied directly right after molding and reduce reject rates due to improper internal surface modification, in addition to reducing additional raw material procurement and increasing safety in the work station. It is suitable for temperature insulated applications.
