Rayong – SCG Chemicals, or SCGC, in collaboration with local communities in Rayong Province, has organized Songkran festival activities across 64 community areas to celebrate the Thai New Year 2026. Throughout the month of April, SCGC executives along with SCGC employees are taking part in the activities to further strengthen relationships and enhance cooperation with communities across the province.

The activities reflect traditional Thai customs and cultural heritage, including bathing Buddha statues, merit-making ceremonies for good fortune, building sand pagodas, and the traditional water-pouring ceremony to pay respect to and seek blessings from the elderly.

In addition, SCGC distributed melamine tableware sets to more than 450 elderly residents across four municipalities: Map Ta Phut Municipality, Mab Kha Pattana Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Chang Subdistrict Municipality, and Thap Ma Subdistrict Municipality. The initiative aims to share happiness and express care and support for local communities during the Songkran festival.
