DRS by REPCO NEX, B.Grimm Power, and SCG Cleanergy Launch Major Solar Collaboration to Phase Out Fossil Fuels, Accelerating Thailand’s Green Transition

BANGKOK — April 8, 2026: REPCO NEX, a subsidiary of SCG Chemicals (SCGC), has partnered with B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM) and SCG Cleanergy Company Limited (SCG Cleanergy) to develop a 247MWp Utility-scale Solar Power Project across Thailand's Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan and Saraburi provinces — enough capacity to power roughly 100,000 households. The plant is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2027 and is expected to cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 200,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year, part of a broader push to expand clean energy, reduce oil dependence and accelerate Thailand's transition to a low-carbon economy.

The three partners are pooling their complementary expertise to maximize the project’s performance. SCGC’s REPCO NEX contributes its renewable energy management platform, along with DRS by REPCO NEX (Digital Reliability Solutions by REPCO NEX— which is designed to improve grid stability and sustain generation efficiency over the plant’s operating life. SCG Cleanergy brings full-cycle clean energy project development capabilities, while B.Grimm Power contributes its strengths in energy investment and asset management.

Mr. Auttapol Sathitmanothum, Chief Executive Officer of SCG Cleanergy, said the company is fully committed to helping build out Thailand’s energy infrastructure. “This project is a strategic collaboration between leading partners — B.Grimm Power and SCGC’s REPCO NEX— aimed at maximizing the efficiency of renewable energy management while delivering tangible environmental results,” he said. “We expect it to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 200,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year.”
