SCGC Joins Forces with Rayong Province to Support Songkran 2026 Accident Prevention Campaign, Enhancing Community Safety

Rayong – 3 April 2026 SCG Chemicals, or SCGC, has joined forces with public and private sector partners in Rayong Province to support campaigns aimed at preventing and reducing road and water-related accidents during the Songkran Festival 2026. The initiative also marks Road User Safety Day, reinforcing efforts to promote a sustainable culture of safety within the community. The campaign was officially launched by Mr. Traiphop Wongtrairat, Governor of Rayong Province, at Central Rayong Shopping Centre. Rayong Province has designated 10–16 April as the intensive road safety control period, driving awareness under the concept “Drive Safely, Reduce Speed, Reduce Accidents” to minimize loss of life and property during the festive season.

As part of the initiative, SCGC is working closely with the Rayong Provincial Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DPM) by supporting coordination efforts, contributing resources, and ensuring the readiness of its emergency response teams to provide immediate assistance if emergencies occur. The collaboration reflects SCGC’s commitment to sustainability, with road safety recognized as a key foundation for enhancing quality of life and community well-being in Rayong Province.
