Rayong – 18 October 2025: SCG Chemicals, or SCGC, in collaboration with Dow Group (Thailand), the Map Ta Phut Municipality, and the Ta Kuan–Ao Pradu community, jointly organized the “Annual Kathin Ceremony 2025” at Wat Ta Kuan, Map Ta Phut Subdistrict, Rayong Province. The event aimed to uphold and preserve Buddhist traditions, support temple restoration and development, and further strengthen long-standing relationships with the local community.

This year’s Kathin ceremony was honored by the presence of Thawin Phobuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut Municipality; Sakchai Patiparnpreechavud, Chief Executive Officer & President of SCGC; and Wichan Tangkiangsirisun, President of Dow Thailand Group, along with SCGC executives including Suracha Udomsak, Chief Operations and Innovation Officer, and Chatri Eamsobhana, Chief Commercial Officer. The event was also attended by SCGC employees and members of the Buddhist community. Together, SCGC, its partners, and devotees contributed a total of THB 1,195,827 to support the renovation and development of temple facilities.
