Health and Public Health

SCGC promotes public health activities through the Village Health Volunteer Group, commonly called "VHV," within the community. We equip these groups with knowledge to enhance their capabilities. Furthermore, we provide the necessary tools and equipment for their fieldwork. Our employees are also encouraged to participate regularly in VHV activities. In addition to this, we collaborate with Chulalongkorn University to offer psychological training sessions.

For community health care, SCGC promotes good health within the community by encouraging regular physical activity. This is supplemented with informative content on healthy lifestyles to reduce the risks of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases, which are highly prevalent in the community. A wide range of activities have been organized to address this, such as the SCG Walk-Run at Map Ta Phut event, which has been ongoing since 2011, the "Fit and Youthful" project, football league tournaments for the Royal Cup, and football camps. All these initiatives aim to minimize the onset of NCDs in children and teenagers.
