SCG Chemicals Co.Ltd., Thailand's leading manufacturer of plastic pellets, had the privilege of hearing Mrs. Ratana Kitchawan, the Governor of the Provincial Waterworks Authority, provide knowledge about the manufacturing of polyethylene compound drinking water pipes according to the Thai Industrial Standard (TIS) 2559-2554. The talk entitled "PE Compound: quality that passes the standards for drinking water pipes" was recently organized as part of the "2014 Academic Waterworks Day". The event was aimed at upgrading waterworks utility standards to improve Thai people's quality of life, and included exhibitions.
