ASEAN Flexible Packaging Summit is a renowned seminar organized by APEX International, focusing on introducing innovations and new technologies in the flexible packaging industry. This includes sustainable material, packaging redesign, and machinery. The event gathered over 300 industry experts for knowledge exchange and experience sharing.
This year’s event takes place on 24 – 25 October 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia with SCGC's experts joined as speakers in the session "Innovative Oxygen Barrier Coating Technology to enable Recyclable Packaging”. SCGC showcased their innovation, the SCGC GREEN POLYMERTM brand, specifically the "Air Permeation Barrier Film Coating Technology, Grade BWO1501G". This technology is certified by RecyClass as the ASIA’s 1st Recyclable Barrier Coating Technology for PE Flexible. The presented technology allows packaging to transform from multi-material to mono-material, while maintaining efficiency in preventing air permeation similar to traditional packaging and enables the recycling of packaging with high efficiency.
BWO1501G can be applied to the surfaces of both polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) films, suitable for various industries, including dry and wet foods, frozen foods, personal care products, and cleaning solutions.
