SCGC's Management and Employees Stand in Solidarity, Offering Heartfelt Condolences to Family of Deceased Employee in Wake of Tragic Loss, Vowing Unwavering Support

Chiang Rai - May 13, 2024 - Mr. Sakchai Patiparnpreechavud, Chief Executive Officer and President of SCG Chemicals (SCGC), alongside Mr. Mongkol Hengrojanasophon, Chief Operating Officer, together with the management team and fellow employees, gathered to extend heartfelt condolences to Mr. Nopporn Rueanma, an employee of Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal Company Limited, who tragically lost his life in the recent fire incident. 

Expressing his condolences, Mr. Sakchai remarked, “I extend my deepest sympathies on the passing of Nopporn. He was a valued member of Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal Company Limited, Rayong Province, serving as a Field Operator responsible for calibrating equipment to measure chemical levels in tanks, demonstrating immense expertise and dedication. His loss is profoundly felt within our organization. We are dedicated to providing support to his family. Initially, they will receive financial assistance in accordance with legal and insurance provisions, supplemented by financial support from the company. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring the education of the Nopporn's child by providing scholarships until they complete their bachelor's degrees. Rest assured, the company stands by Nopporn’s family during this difficult time, ready to support them in every possible way.”

The company hosts the funeral prayer ceremony and facilitated the cremation rites, held for five days at Pu Kaeng Temple, Mae Yen Subdistrict, Phan District, Chiang Rai Province, as a gesture of respect and support. Mr. Sakchai affirmed the company's unwavering commitment to assist and care for the bereaved family to the best of its abilities, ensuring that Nopporn's child will receive scholarship support until they complete their bachelor's degree.
