Bangkok - 24 August 2022 Five companies under SCG Chemicals (SCGC) received CSR-DIW Continuous Awards 2022 from the Department of Industrial Works, the Ministry of Industry, reaffirming SCGC’s leadership in integrated petrochemicals for sustainability and its continued efforts to use the principles of corporate governance to make a contribution to society and the environment in its business practices in accordance with ESG guidelines and UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs). The award ceremony was held at IMPACT Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani and presided over by Mr. Wanchai Phanomchai Director General of the Department of Industrial Works.
The CSR-DIW Continuous Award recipients under SCGC have met the assessment criteria and received such awards every year, demonstrating their determination to maintain the level of their contribution to society and the environment alongside their business operations through ‘CSR after process.’ The awards are also a testament that they have consistently engaged in ‘CSR in process’ and used business models that meet social responsibility standards in order to foster sustainability in accordance with ESG guidelines.
