Rayong—25 July 2022 Companies under SCGC have been recognized with Gold Star Awards and Greens Star Awards for excellent environmental and safety governance as part of a project to promote public participation in environmental and safety compliance and auditing for the year 2022. Mr. Porntep Puripatana, Deputy Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) presented the awards to companies in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate and Map Ta Phut Industrial Port that met IEAT’s criteria at Somjate Conference Room, Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office, Rayong.
The Gold Star Awards, given to companies that have successfully maintained excellent environmental and safety governance for six consecutive years, were conferred to TPE, GSC, ROC, TMFC, TMMA, MOC, and RTC.
The recipients of the 2022 Green Star Awards for excellent environmental and safety governance included TPE, GSC, ROC, TMFC, TMMA, MOC, RTC, and TPC.
The criteria for IEAT’s environmental and safety governance project meet international standards and encompass 13 areas for harmonious coexistence between communities and industries.
