Bangkok — July 11, 2022 Mr. Kobchai Sungsitthisawad, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industry at Ministry of Industry, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and Mr. Amnuay Yuhanngo, representative of Kamalul Islam Community, visited Kamalul Islam Community Preschool Child Development Center (Kamalul Islam Mosque) in Khlong Sam Wa District to inspect the installation of a wastewater treatment system under the Khlong Saen Saeb Development Volunteer Project in honor of H.M. King Vajiralongkorn. Mr. Pisan Uawithya, New Business Director of SCG Chemicals Plc. (SCGC), was present to provide data, give a demonstration of the treatment systems, and view models at the site.
Zyclonic by SCGC is an innovative wastewater treatment system that uses a biological and electrochemical process to disinfect gray water from kitchens and houses. Easy to install and maintain, the treatment system yields colorless and odorless water that can be reused for other purposes, such as watering plants and cleaning common areas, as well as helps to reduce the spread of germs. Two sets of the Zyclonic treatment system will be installed at the site, with each set capable of treating as much as 1,000 liters of wastewater per day.
