Phetchabun – 22 January 2022 SCG Chemicals increased greenery to mitigate global warming and encourage sustainable living between human and forest according to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) by collaborating with community network in forest restoration area. The effort aims to conserve local culture and environment through financial support and 100-tree planting for Si Thep Historical Park, Phetchabun province.
Mr. Pichet Tangpanyarat, Olefins Manufacturing Director-ROC stated, “SCG Chemicals continuously emphasizes on environmental concern. This collaboration will drive the success of greenery for the park and quality of live among communities, contributing to a sustainable economic, society, and environment.”
This tree plaining activity’s goal is to handle climate emergency, one of SCG Chemical’s commitment to drive business in align with sustainable development goal, and to build a sustainable planet for the next generation.
