SCG Promotes Road Safety for Children, Joining Hands with NCSWT and Don't Drive Drunk Foundation to Provide Helmets

Bangkok – 24 March 2021 Chemicals Business, SCG, led by Miss Namthip Samphowprasert, Brand Management and CSR Director, provided 100 youth helmets to National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand (NCSWT) and Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation. The goal is to promote road safety awareness among youths by wearing helmets while riding motorcycle or being a passenger to prevent injury or disability caused by road accidents. The statistic shows that helmet use among young people is only 8%. Major General Khunying Asanee Saovapap, President of National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand received the helmets on behalf of the council.

The youth helmets are partly from the revenue of “The Lifesaver: Be Safe Together”, Line sticker activity which employees of Chemicals Business, SCG, highly participated to share safety through Line sticker and create safe society based on The Lifesaver concept .
