KoomKah Expands to Loei Hosting Workshop and Establishing Web Application Platform for DLA and 101 Communities

Loei - 23 September 2020 KoomKah team was invited by Loei Provincial Office for Local Administration as guest speakers to present waste management practices based on the Circular Economy concept and how to use the web application "KoomKah" in a workshop to encourage the web application's adoption with Loei's recycled waste bank and recycling market. Loei province is a medium-sized province that has won the "Clean Province" award for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019. The workshop was well attended by representatives from local government organizations and members from 101 communities.

Loei deputy governor Sopon Suwannarat disclosed, “This workshop will help enhance the waste management performance in communities and local government organizations with the adoption of tools and technology designed to meet today’s consumer needs. The application will enable a systematic data storage of recycled items in which the user can quickly retrieve data into a report. The web application can effectively record the data of buyers and communities that carry on such activities.

The web application “KoomKah” is developed by Chemicals Business, SCG, to provide a comprehensive digital solution to maximize the business management of the waste bank to streamline the recycling process in line with the principles of the Circular Economy, and be a way to reduce global warming. The web application is adopted and used in a wide range of waste bank facilities from small businesses, community units, educational institutions, stores, project-based establishments to a larger-scale facility like Amata City Industrial Estate.
