SCG Showcases Innovation at Press Conference on Upcoming IP Fair 2020 Under Theme of “Innovate for a Green Future”

Bangkok - 3 September 2020 Mr. Pisan Uawithya, Emerging Businesses Director of Chemicals Business, SCG, joined the press conference with the Department of Intellectual Property, announcing an upcoming intellectual property event “IP Fair 2020” at Burachat Chaiyakorn Room, Ministry of Commerce. Mr. Thosapone Dunsuputra, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property, chaired the conference. At the press conference, SCG has showcased Zyclonic™, which SCG has filed for intellectual property patent and trademark.

Zyclonic™ is a compact wastewater treatment system that can turn human waste and wastewater into clean and pathogen-free reusable byproducts. It is easy to install and can improve sanitation and well-being of users and surrounding communities.

The event “IP Fair” is organized to boost the transformation of creativity into sustainable economic assets and promote intellectual property as a key strategic driver to gain a competitive edge in domestic and global markets. This year’s theme is “Innovate for a Green Future,” in line with the worldwide campaign led by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The event will take place from 15-16 September at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao hotel.
