SCG Hosts Creative Design Contest in Search for Cutting-Edge Designs as Alternative Options to Customers

Bangkok – 2 July 2020 Mr. Salin Panichsarn, Managing Director of SCG ICO Polymers Co., Ltd., and Mr. Dissaniti Towiwat, Vice President of Thammasorn Co.,Ltd., jointly presented awards to the winner of the category of water tank at Creative Design Contest 2020. Mr. Daniel Martínez, a lecturer of Interior and Product Design at Chanapatana International Design Institute, has congratulated the winner at the event.

Co-organized by SCG ICO Polymers and Chanapatana International Design Institute, the contest aims at finding exceptional plastic designs using the rotational molding process. The categories in this contest are water tank, cooler box, and furniture. The contestants would receive basic training of molding from SCG to help them design and develop the work. SCG also invited its clients, leading manufacturers, to join the judging panel, including Thammasorn Group Co., Ltd., producer and distributor of DOS water tank, P.E. Container Supply Co., Ltd., manufacturer and distributor of Dokbua cooler box, and JRM Co., Ltd., manufacturer and distributor of the water tank and plastic furniture.

The competition aims to not only bring about the products that are unique and distinctive in design to meet the demand of manufacturers, but also improve market competition and provide a wealth of alternative options that meet different lifestyles.
