SCG Foundation Donates COVID-19 Mobile Isolation Unit to Rayong Hospital

Rayong - 28 April 2020 Chemicals Business, SCG, led by Mr. Mongkol Hengrojanasophon, Vice President, Ms. Namthip Samphowprasert, Brand Management and CSR Director, and Mr. Poramate Chairat, Sustainable Development Director, together donated “COVID-19 Mobile Isolation Unit” to Rayong Hospital on behalf of SCG Foundation. The innovations aim to reduce infection risks among healthcare workers in Rayong province. The innovations can fulfill different needs with a HEPA air filter to ensure clean air for healthcare workers and patients. The structure consists of a high-quality plastic component that provides excellent performance. The unit is designed for easy deployment and high mobility.  Mr. Yongyuth Ongartittichai, Deputy Rayong Governor and Mrs. Sutatip Wungsisiripech, Deputy Public Health Doctor of Rayong, and Dr. Chaiyasit Thepchatri, director of Rayong Hospital, received the handout. 

The “COVID-19 Mobile Isolation Unit” innovation series consists of:

1. Negative Pressure Isolation Room: This equipment is designed to fit emergency rooms, ICUs, or even patient rooms, to let doctors and nurses immediately treat patients without the need to move the patient or other life support equipment.
2. Patient Isolation Capsule: This equipment helps prevent the spread of the virus during patient transfer.
3. Dent Guard: This equipment helps prevent the spread of the virus during dental work.
