SCG Donates COVID-19 Protection Items To IEAT Extending Care To Medical Professionals And Communities In Chanthaburi

Rayong - 23 April 2020 Chemicals Business, SCG, led by Mr. Piboon Sirinantanakul, Deputy General Director of Long Son Petrochemicals Company Limited, Mr. Chokchai Montreeamornchet, Managing Director of Thai MFC Company Limited, and Ms. Namthip Samphowprasert, Brand Management and CSR Director, offered COVID-19 protection items consisting of 10,000 pieces of cloth face masks, 5,000 pairs of medical gloves to the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). The donation is part of the aid project to combat COVID-19. The protective medical gear and supply later will be handed out to Chanthaburi authority and given to communities and healthcare workers in Chanthaburi province to keep them safe from COVID-19. Ms. Somjin Piluek, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, received the items.

Ms. Namthip Samphowprasert said, "Prior to this, Chemicals Business, SCG, has supported COVID-19 protection items in Rayong including it its neighboring province, Chonburi. This time, SCG presented medical gloves and cloth face masks to the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand under the aid project to combat COVID-19. This is to extend our care to doctors and communities in Chanthaburi, a neighboring province. The donated face masks were made by Rayong local people, and the medical gloves were manufactured by Bangkok Synthetics Company Limited."
