Rayong – March 17, 2020 Namthip Samphowprasert, Brand Management and CSR Director, Chemicals Business, SCG, attended the opening ceremony of a workshop on COVID19 prevention and making DIY face mask at Map Ta Phut municipality public health service center in Rayong. Also, Tawin Phobuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut Municipality, was at the opening ceremony.
The workshop was instructed by healthcare providers from Rayong Provincial Public Health Office and Chief of Disease Prevention and Control from HRH Princess Sirindhorn Hospital in Rayong. Workshop participants were equipped with knowledge on COVID-19 and precautionary measures that need to be taken amid the pandemic. The workshop also taught village health volunteers in Map Ta Phut municipality how to make a face mask. The program aims to lower infection risk and the spread of the virus. Participants can impart the gained knowledge to other community members to maintain the good health of people in Rayong communities.
