SCG Chemicals สaunches SCG Chemicals Research Unit to develop new equipment and polymer research with synchrotron light

Dr. Suracha Udomsak, R&D Director and Technology Business Group Head at SCG Chemicals, and Professor Wing Commander Dr. Sarawut Sujitjorn, Director of the Synchrotron Light Research Institute, attended the opening ceremony of SCG Chemicals Research Unit at the Synchrotron Light Research Institute in Nakhon Ratchasima. The Research Unit has been established with the aim to give researchers access to special polymer detection devices and opportunities
to work closely with experts as well as promote the development of more value-added innovations to launch on the market and expand innovation development initiatives with both domestic and international research allies with greater efficiency.

The launching of SCG Chemicals Research Unit is an implementation of SCG Chemicals’ R&D enhancement strategies. This collaboration will elevate Thailand’s capacity to
develop polymer research to match that of other leading countries and enable Thai companies to create innovations that are competitive on the global level.
