8 SCG Chemicals subsidiaries receives carbon footprint certificates, emphasizing its images as a pioneer prototype of Thailand's first eco factory

8 subsidiaries of SCG Chemicals recently received certificates of carbon footprint in a category of organization, product and that of global warming labels from General Surasak Karnjanarat, Minister of National Resources and Environment at a public function titled “2016 Roi Duangjai Ruamjai Lod Lok Ron”. Mr. Somchai Wangwattanapanitch, Vice President-Operations of SCG Chemicals also congratulated to the 8 companies which are Thai Polyethylene Co., Ltd., Thai Plastic and Chemicals Public Co., Ltd., The Nawa Plastics Industries Co., Ltd., Siam Stabilizers and Chemicals Co., Ltd., Siam Mitsui PTA Co., Ltd., Thai MMA Co., Ltd., Grand Siam Composites Co., Ltd., and Thai MFC Co., Ltd.


               The event was organized by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Pubilc Organization) to honor those who contribute to a reduction of greenhouse gas emission in Thailand. The awarded certificate is a testimony to SCG Chemicals’ achievement in utilizing innovation to maintain and preserve the environment as well as building sustainable communities. It also emphasizes the company’s image as a pioneer prototype of Thailand’s first eco factory.
