Mr. Cholanat Yanaranop, (standing row, center) President, SCG Chemicals together with executives and the researcher team welcomed the press to ASTEC (Advanced Science and Technology Center), a center leveled with international research facilities and innovation centers located in Rayong. SCG Chemicals sets to reinforce its strategy for sustainable R&D management by strengthening its human capital, investing more on R&D equipment, as well as partnering with world-class research teams such as establishing SCG – University of Oxford Centre of Excellence. In 2015, SCG Chemicals is pushing ahead with its plan to continue innovating its high value added products and services (HVA) by allocated more than THB 2.1 billion for R&D spending. The company aims its HVA will account for 29 percent of its revenue in 2015 and target to introduce at least 14 new products to the market to serve customers in more than 120 countries around the world.
