SCGC values local traditions and cultures. We encourage our management team and employees to participate in activities and preserve these valuable traditions in collaboration with the local Thai, Chinese, and Muslim communities near our plants. This ensures that these traditions are passed down and preserved for future generations. Examples of these activities include merit-making during the third lunar month, the "Khao Lam" rice roasting ceremony, the Songkran water festival where elders are respected by pouring water, the Tak Bat Thewo alms-giving event at the end of Buddhist Lent, Kathin robe offering ceremonies, the Loy Krathong festival, the Taekrachad festival, donations to mosques, and participation in the Hajj pilgrimage ceremony, among others.
