Rayong, Thailand – 17 August 2026: SCGC continues to advance its green manufacturing by integrating environmental stewardship, safety, operational excellence, and harmonious coexistence with communities into its manufacturing operations. The company has recently achieved another significant milestone by receiving the White Flag–Diamond Star Award for the first time under the Environmental and Safety Governance Program organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). The prestigious award is presented to companies that have maintained the White Flag–Green Star Award continuously for 10 consecutive years. In total, companies under the SCGC group received 39 awards, comprising 11 White Flag–Diamond Star Awards, 12 White Flag–Gold Star Awards, and 16 White Flag–Green Star Awards, reflecting their consistent excellence in environmental management, safety, and governance across manufacturing operations. The awards were presented by Mr. Sumate Tangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT).

The Environmental and Safety Governance Award, organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), aims to promote excellence among industrial operators in environmental management, occupational safety, and social responsibility. The assessment covers five key dimensions: physical infrastructure, economic performance, environmental management, social responsibility, and management systems, supporting the development of Thailand's industrial estates toward long-term sustainable growth.
