SCGC, in collaboration with Map Ta Phut Municipality, launched the “SMART MAPTAPHUT” program to strengthen AI knowledge and skills among municipal executives and personnel, enabling them to apply digital technologies to improve operations and public services.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Thawil Photibuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut City Municipality; Ms. Pawinda Chaihongsa, Municipal Clerk; the municipality’s executive team; SCGC representatives led by Mr. Sanya Jindaprasert, Enterprise Digital Director; and experts from technology partners.

The program aims to integrate AI into municipal operations to reduce repetitive tasks, improve data analysis accuracy, and enhance public service efficiency. More than 50 SCGC employees and experts from technology partners—including Google, Microsoft, FPT, NTT, and Gopomelo—shared their expertise and served as mentors during hands-on sessions, helping participants apply AI to real-world tasks.

The program demonstrates how SCGC applies its digital and AI expertise to support the public sector and local communities, enhance public services, and help advance Map Ta Phut toward becoming a smart city. SCGC remains committed to sharing its knowledge and experience to improve community quality of life and contribute to the sustainable growth of Rayong Province.
