SCGC Partners with Navamindradhiraj University to Advance Research into Medical Innovations, Strengthening Thailand’s Capability for Local Manufacturing

Bangkok – 9 June 2026 – SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited (SCGC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Navamindradhiraj University (NMU) to collaborate on research and innovation development in medical devices. The partnership aims to integrate medical expertise with advanced materials and innovation capabilities to develop technologies and solutions that can be practically applied in the healthcare system, one of Thailand’s key industries, while paving the way for industrial-scale production.

This collaboration brings together the strengths of both organizations: SCGC’s expertise in polymer innovation and sustainable materials, along with its capability to transform ideas into commercially viable products, and NMU’s deep knowledge in medicine, clinical practice, and patient care. The partnership is set to drive the development of high-quality, safe, and practical medical innovations for real-world hospital use, helping enhance Thailand’s capability to reduce reliance on imports, strengthen healthcare security in the long term, and support sustainable growth of homegrown innovation.
