BANGKOK – August 26, 2026: SCG Chemicals (SCGC) has announced progress in its Industrial Solutions business, which provides comprehensive digital technologies and smart industrial solutions under "DRS by REPCO NEX" (Digital Reliability Solutions). Designed to enhance machinery maintenance, boost operational efficiency, ensure continuous operations, reduce losses, and meet concrete sustainability and environmental goals, DRS serves key industries including power plants, oil and gas, food and beverage, and utilities.

DRS by REPCO NEX is expanding its footprint across ASEAN, targeting the power industry with its 'Smart Power Plant Solutions'. By integrating digital technology and AI-driven data analytics, the solution enhances power plant efficiency and stability, reduces the risk of forced outages, optimizes asset management, and supports the region’s growing energy demand.

Most recently, DRS by REPCO NEX signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hongsa Power Company Limited in Lao PDR to jointly develop and apply Smart Power Plant Solutions for their 1,878 MW power plant, aimed at enhancing efficiency and stability for Electricité du Laos (EDL) and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), with completion expected by 2027."

The Smart Power Plant Solutions under DRS consist of three main pillars:• Predictive & Data-driven Reliability: Utilizes predictive analytics and a Boiler Digital Twin to analyze real-time data, predict machinery anomalies in advance, and prevent forced outages. • Smart Maintenance: Leverages data to plan predictive maintenance, optimize asset management, and lower overall operational costs. • Knowledge & Capability Development: Transfers technical expertise and builds workforce capability, enabling organizations to manage power plants efficiently using data and technology.
