Binh Minh Plastics (BMP), a leading manufacturer and distributor of high‑quality plastic pipes and fittings in Vietnam, has recently been honored as one of Ho Chi Minh City’s Green Businesses 2025, recognizing enterprises with outstanding achievements in sustainable development and strong compliance with environmental standards. The program is organized by Sài Gòn Giải Phóng newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, with the support of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and selects leading companies that have successfully advanced their green transformation.

This award highlights the role of Binh Minh Plastics as a leading manufacturer with tangible responsibility toward the community and the environment. The company has prioritized investment in modern production technologies that help reduce resource and energy consumption, while strictly complying with environmental regulations at every stage of its operations.

Key achievements include:

    • First company in Vietnam’s construction plastics materials industry to be certified at the highest level (Leader) under the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) scheme. This certification covers everything from material properties to environmental impacts throughout the product life cycle.
    • LOTUS certification from the Vietnam Green Building Council for multiple products. This confirms their environmental safety, health friendliness, and energy‑saving performance in line with Vietnam’s green building criteria.
    • Commitment to transparent ESG reporting. The company actively discloses information to stakeholders regarding its social and environmental responsibilities, in accordance with ESG principles.
    • Initiation of the “Loving Water for the Future” project. The project aims to provide pipes and water system solutions to support communities lacking access to clean water.

This recognition reflects the wider commitment across all SCG group companies to drive sustainable growth and develop a green economy through: High‑quality innovation, Support for social development, and Long‑term environmental stewardship.

All of this is aligned with the group’s ambition to achieve Net Zero and pursue sustainable growth. “We are committed to creating sustainable growth hand in hand with social responsibility by developing innovations that not only generate value for the company, but also enhance the environment and communities,” said Mr. Niwat Athiwattananon, General Director of Binh Minh Plastics.
