SCGC has promoted Buddhism and community traditions while also contributing to social well-being. Recently, SCGC co-sponsored the consecration ceremony and the community offering for the Ganesha statue at the Nong Fab Temple in Rayong Province. This reflects the company's commitment to conducting business in parallel with social stewardship following the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) approach. The event featured a monk's ceremony and a consecration ritual for the Ganesha statue, intended to usher in prosperity. Pichet Tangpanyarat, Managing Director of Rayong Olefins Company Limited, a subsidiary of the SCGC group, participated in this ceremony.

The ceremony was also attended by prominent figures such as Supoj Toh-arjharn, the Deputy Governor of Rayong Province, senior executives of industrial operators, the Mayor of Map Ta Phut Municipality, notable monks, and residents of the Nong Fab community. The combined contributions from the communal robe offerings and donations from industrial operators for constructing the Ganesha statue amounted to THB 25 million.

The consecration ceremony of Buddha images, deities, or symbolic figures of gods is based on beliefs that wish to show respect for the completed Buddha or deity images as they are deemed complete and worthy of worship to bring about future auspiciousness.
