emisspro® Wins First Prize of IP Champion 2020 in Patent Category at IP Fair 2020

Bangkok – 15 September 2020 emisspro® has been awarded the first prize in the patent category of “IP Champion 2020” from the Department of Intellectual Property. Mr. Pisan Uawithya, Emerging Businesses Director of Chemicals Business, SCG, received the award on the company’s behalf together with Mrs. Malee Thanapempulpol, Managing Director of Siam Refractory Industry. Mr. Thosapone Dunsuputra, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, chaired the IP Fair 2020 award ceremony held at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao hotel in Bangkok. It is the first time for SCG to earn the IP Champion award in patent category

At the exhibition, Mr. Attawut Kumkrong, Senior Partnership Manager of Chemicals Business, SCG, also showcased Zyclonic™, a compact and innovative water treatment system that is being in the application process for patent and trademark. Zyclonic™ is an innovation that can turn human waste and wastewater into pathogen-free reusable byproducts. Developed for effortless installation, the innovation can ensure good sanitation and well-being of the users and nearby communities. The innovation received great attention from the Director-General and participants.
