SCG Chemicals has demonstrated continuous and earnest efforts to elevate road safety issues. The Drink Don’t Drive program banning alcohol consumption in and out work hours was among successful campaigns that has led to the earning of “Prime Minister Road Safety Award” in 2011 for outstanding organization in tackling drunk driving.

In 2015, SCG Chemicals implemented “The Life Saving Rules” and created a road safety culture within the organization under the concept, “The LifesaverTM” to safeguard employee’s lives and others. Program members are metaphorical “The LifesaverTM” for one another. In addition, SCG Chemicals has also collaborated with Rayong provincial authority to promote road safety for the community surrounding the factories. This program is part of an attempt to build a safe and livable Thai society to coherence for SCG’s sustainable development of SCG and be in line with the government’s policy moving towards the decade of action for road safety 2011-2020.
